Technology built for real legal operations
VENTRiQ’s technology underpins every part of the platform, connecting systems, data and workflows into a single operational model. It is designed specifically for legal organisations, where security, reliability and oversight are essential, and built to support growth without adding complexity.
VENTRiQ’s technology is purpose-built for legal environments, where regulation, confidentiality and accountability are part of everyday operations.
The platform is designed to:
Built for legal services,
designed to adapt
Support clear oversight, governance and accountability
Handle sensitive legal and client data securely
Integrate smoothly with existing systems and workflows
Adapt as regulatory and operational requirements change
Scale as organisations grow, without adding operational complexity
Software included, not bolted on
VENTRiQ delivers the same core operational capability you’d expect from standalone chambers management systems, but it is built directly into the service rather than sold as an additional product.
That means:
No separate monthly software licence
No additional platform or per-user fees
No need to buy, integrate, or manage multiple tools
Access to the platform, its features, and ongoing development is included within the commission-based model. The result is a single, predictable cost structure that removes software administration from the equation and keeps the focus on outcomes, not overhead.
Platform Security and Cyber Resilience
Built for legal data. Protected by design.
VENTRiQ is built to support regulated legal businesses where confidentiality, integrity and availability of data are non-negotiable. Cybersecurity is not an add on. It is embedded into how the platform is designed, operated and governed.
We operate under an information security framework with board-level oversight, defined accountability and independently tested controls.
-
VENTRiQ maintains Cyber Essentials certification, demonstrating that core technical controls are in place to protect against the most common cyber threats. We also carry out monthly external vulnerability scanning and exhaustive annual penetration testing by approved specialists, with issues remediated based on severity and risk.
-
Access to systems and data is tightly controlled using role-based access, least-privilege principles and mandatory multi-factor authentication. Privileged access is restricted, logged and reviewed regularly. All systems are protected by firewalls configured to block unauthorised connections by default, with continuous monitoring and audit trails in place.
-
All data handled within the platform is classified, protected and retained in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act. Devices are encrypted, centrally managed and capable of remote wipe. Software and infrastructure are actively patched, with strict timeframes for critical updates and vulnerabilities.
-
VENTRiQ is PCI-DSS compliant at SAQ-A level, meaning payment card information never touches our servers. All payment processing is handled by compliant third-party providers, reducing risk while maintaining full security assurance.
-
We maintain tested backup, business continuity and incident response procedures. In the unlikely event of a security incident, clear escalation, containment and reporting processes are in place, including regulatory notification where required.
The result: a platform designed to remove operational complexity without increasing cyber risk, giving legal brands confidence that their data, their clients and their reputation are protected.
The team behind the tech
VENTRiQ’s technology is built and run by an in-house team with deep experience across legal operations, software delivery and commercial performance.
Keiran Fleming, Toby Ward, Natasha Richmond and Scott Price work closely across technology, performance and delivery. Together, they shape how the platform is built, implemented and used in practice, ensuring it remains secure, reliable and genuinely useful for legal organisations.
The platform is developed by Dan Hoff and Dan Croucher, who focus on building, maintaining and improving the core technology. Their work keeps VENTRiQ stable, scalable and responsive to how it is used in real legal operations.
